About The Position

Sycamores provides a spectrum of equitable mental health services through various programs to multicultural populations of all acuities. Although it serves a variety of consumers, the agency focuses primarily on providing care to low-income, high at- risk youth. The Housing and Homeless Program Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Transitional Housing Programs. This position provides flexible, responsive, and hands-on support to multiple areas of the program, with a focus on assisting the Housing Manager, supporting Transition Specialists, and addressing emergent operational needs. The role involves frequent collaboration across interdisciplinary teams, providing administrative and logistical support to uphold program efficiency and service delivery standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Must be highly motivated and a self-starter.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with and relate to a diverse group of people including management, landlords, and other staff.
  • Must have excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management, great attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.
  • Maintains all required licenses and certifications.
  • Fluent in English required.
  • Valid California driver’s license.
  • Acceptable driving record as determined Agency policy.
  • Proof of auto insurance meeting minimum coverage requirements.
  • All candidates who are presented with a conditional offer of employment must satisfy a pre-employment background check, drug, and health screen.
