About The Position

Presbyterian Homes & Services - Lake Minnetonka Shores is seeking a Housing Administrator to join its team. The Housing Administrator is responsible for managing the overall operations of Assisted Living and Senior Housing portion of the campus in order to assure high quality resident care while achieving long and short-term business goals. REPORTING STRUCTURE The Housing Administrator reports to the Campus Administrator and supervises the AL Clinical Administrator, Housing Counselor, and Office Manager. This position works closely with Campus Leadership Team members, Site Leader, and the Director of Regional Operation. SCHEDULE: This is a full-time exempt benefit eligible position scheduled for 40 hours/week on site. Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experiences in operational management, preferably in health care, housing or community service.
  • Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or Real estate agent preferred. Licensed Assisted Living Director(LALD) or Assisted Living Director in Residence (ALDIR) required in MN for Assisted Living communities.
  • Demonstrated competencies in health care management and operations, quality management, staff development and management, resident and family support systems, community outreach.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common computer programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS’ mission and operating philosophies.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) or Real estate agent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • The Housing Administrator has responsibility to lead the planning and implementation of strategies and programming that assure high quality resident care while achieving short and long-term operational goals and objectives for the site.
  • In this role you are also the leader and champion of our Christian Culture by reinforcing the Christian heritage and culture through communication and education systems; support the work of on-site chaplains and spiritual programming; recognize the importance of spiritual matters to residents and employees.
  • Creating and maintaining an environment that achieves high quality care (physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual) of residents and maintain their independence and dignity to the highest degree possible within the PHS continuum.
  • Promoting a spirit of cooperation with all regulatory organizations managing with an expectation of appropriate compliance and corrective measures.
  • Creating and maintaining a work environment for employees that is conducive to high productivity and morale by establishing and maintaining effective communication systems with employees and providing ongoing employee educational and development opportunities which meet regulatory requirements and opportunities for growth.
  • Developing and leading an effective management team that achieves desired outcomes at the individual team member level as well as at the collective function level.
  • As a member of the PHS management team, actively participating in the overall planning, decision-making and implementation processes for corporate-wide strategies, policies and procedures.
  • Participating in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and practices that are consistent with regulations and established corporate practices.
  • Actively managing the site’s annual planning process assuring staff participation in the development and implementation of the approved plans.
  • Also Managing resource allocations in order to achieve or exceed operational goals
