About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations for the park's cabins, bathhouses, laundry areas, and common spaces. This role involves both supervisory duties and hands-on cleaning. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. This is a full-time, Seasonal position working at Jellystone Park Petoskey located in Petoskey, MI.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience required
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physically active tasks
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Oversee a small housekeeping team, including training, scheduling, and daily task assignments
• Inspect cabins, restrooms, and common facilities to ensure cleanliness meets resort standards
• Provide coaching and support to team members to improve efficiency and quality
• Clean and prepare cabins between guest stays, including linens, surfaces, kitchens, and bathrooms
• Maintain cleanliness of bathhouses, laundry rooms, and common areas
• Restock linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies
• Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment
• Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping
• Ensure quick turnaround of cabins for check-ins
• Help maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere throughout the resort
• Ensure staff follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately
• Maintain proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
