About The Position

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for organizing shifts, training and motivating team members, and inspecting guest rooms and common areas for cleanliness. Ensure daily housekeeping operations run smoothly and that guests are satisfied.

Requirements

High school diploma, or equivalent.
Prior Housekeeping experience in a hotel.
Communication Proficiency.
Guest Focus.
Detail Oriented.
Thoroughness.
Organizational Skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee and train housekeeping department on all policies, procedures and standards.
Obtains list of room check ins and check outs to prepare work assignments.
Continuous cleaning inspections of guest rooms and common areas.
Oversee Houseman and Laundry Attendants to ensure continuous motion of laundry and trash collection.
Schedule shifts and arrange shift coverages in case of absences.
Maintain communication with Front Desk to verify completion of guest rooms.
Report any maintenance issues immediately to Facilities, including all furniture, fittings and equipment.
Oversee lost and found, to include proper recording, storage, and communication with the front desk.
Ensures any guest’s cleaning requests are met.
Handles guest complaints concerning housekeeping service.
Monitor and maintain inventory of amenities and supplies in housekeeping closets.
Maintain a safe work environment- ensure all operational and safety procedures are properly followed.
Wear the proper uniform; ensures all housekeeping staff wears the proper uniform.
All guests must be treated in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction. Always strive to exceed guests’ expectations.
Performs other duties as directed.
Weekly attendance to Aloha Culture Meeting.
