The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to brand and company standards. This position involves supervising, training, and supporting Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Laundry staff. Key duties include inspecting rooms and public spaces for cleanliness, presentation, and compliance with quality standards, verifying amenities and supplies, and following up on deficiencies. The supervisor also reports maintenance issues, assists with inventory and lost and found procedures, supports scheduling, and manages staff attendance records. They are expected to respond to guest requests and service recovery situations, assign daily tasks, train new staff, monitor team performance, and foster a positive work environment. Adherence to safety, sanitation, security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation is required, along with providing courteous service and assisting other departments as needed.
