About The Position

Housekeeping Manager Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to lead our cleaning and custodial teams in delivering exceptional cleanliness and hospitality standards. As a working manager, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure the highest levels of service and cleanliness, and foster a positive environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management with a strong background in cleaning techniques and floor care
• Extensive janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of industrial cleaning methods
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to train teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment maintenance, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

Nice To Haves

• Certifications related to industrial cleaning or hospitality management are a plus

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities, including cleaning, floor care, and janitorial tasks across the property
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules, standards, and procedures to ensure consistent quality and safety compliance
• Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance levels and professional growth
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to uphold cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance, and procurement to optimize resources
• Collaborate with other departments to address special requests or urgent cleaning needs promptly
• Ensure adherence to health regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices in all custodial operations
