About The Position

Hilton Cabana Miami Beach Resort is looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join and lead their Housekeeping team. Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, we offer direct access to the beach and the nine-mile Miami Beachwalk. Lincoln Road’s shopping and dining and Miami Beach Convention Center are within four miles. Features include two ocean-view outdoor pools, poolside cabanas, and our private beach. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a Housekeeping Manager, at a hotel level, has open flexibility to work fluctuating schedules over AM and PM shifts, weekends and holidays and is looking to grow in their career. Previous hotel experience is preferred. HotSos and OnQ system knowledge are highly preferred, but not mandatory. Bi-lingual is highly preferred! In this role, you will oversee approx. 30-35 Team members. Shift Pattern\: Open availability for all shifts including AM and PM shifts as early as 7AM and ending as late as 7PM-8PM, and Weekend/holiday availability is required. As Housekeeping Manager, you would be responsible for assisting the Director in the direction and administration of all Housekeeping operations to ensure the overall cleanliness and product quality of the hotel in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards ensuring compliance with Hilton’s Brand Standards of products and services. Leads, trains and supervises room/suite attendants and housepersons on a floor/in an area to ensure all rooms/suites and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards. Assesses inventory of, assigns, inspects and verifies and reports status of rooms/suites. Monitors payroll reports, work schedules and lost and found program. Ensures stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies. Keeps designated inventories (i.e. linen, etc.) and ensures stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies. Communicates and coordinates with Engineering/Property Operations to ensure the efficient repair and maintenance of items related to guestrooms and public areas. What are we looking for?
