About The Position

Key Responsibilities: Serve as lead custodial staff as needed Assist Director of Facilities with scheduling staff as needed Supervise and support housekeeping staff during weekday shifts, events, shows, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all designated areas Serve as the primary contact for staff, during events and on dark days Communicate effectively with the Manager on Duty (MOD) and Senior Events Manager. Ensure proper storage and inventory of cleaning supplies and toiletry items in accordance with safety regulations and facility guidelines. Receive report of any unsafe or hazardous conditions, lead or assist with follow-up Use various mechanical equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, high speed buffers, carpet cleaners, etc. Anticipate potential issues and implement appropriate solutions. Investigate and resolve operational problems and customer/staff complaints. Inventory and provide essential equipment and information for staff. Monitor staff breaks and event readiness throughout the venue. Report irregularities, staffing concerns, safety issues, or damage/loss of property to management. Lead scheduling, hiring, training, work assignments, and conflict resolution among staff. Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager. Supervisory Responsibilities Serve as lead custodial and primary contact for housekeeping staff. Carries out Leady responsibilities in accordance with ASM’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing complaints, and conflict resolution. Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Two years of experience in custodial-related field Knowledge of various cleaning compounds is necessary to the position. Ability to supervise a team and provide work tasks and responsibilities Ability to lift 30 lbs. without mechanical assistance. Must pass the background check.
