Job Summary:Inspecting guest rooms and public areas to verify their status, reporting discrepancies in the property management system, and identifying maintenance issues. Requirements

Must be organized and have a great eye for details to ensure quality expectations and standards.
Ability to speak with others using clear and professional language.
Ability to support housekeeping team to reach common goals and deadlines.
Must be proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office.
A valid driver's license with a good driving record is preferred.
Lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds as needed throughout the day. Constant lifting and carrying supplies and linens throughout the day.
Making beds, bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching as needed for up to 8 hours per shift.
Standing for long periods of time, frequent walking up and down stairs, as well as in outdoor areas sporadically throughout the day.
Pushing a hotel cart or cabin cart up to 50-75 pounds as needed.
Working safely with required chemicals.

Responsibilities

Works closely with Housekeeping Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure high productivity and quality control on daily basis in all guest rooms and public areas.
Inspect rooms, verify and report status and/or discrepancies of rooms and enter into property management system.
Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas.
Assist in training Room Attendants as needed.
Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Make sure Personal Protective Equipment protocols are always followed.
Follow Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned.
