The Housekeeping Room Inspector is responsible for ensuring that room assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Additionally, the Room Inspector inspects all aspects of guest rooms, including entry ways, bed areas, bathrooms, closets, stairways, elevators, and guest corridors. The individual in this position will work closely with their supervisor on assignments, projects that meet the quality of resort standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this job class and are not all-inclusive for this position.) Inspection & Evaluation: Conduct thorough inspections of rooms to ensure they meet cleanliness and maintenance standards, including checking for cleanliness, proper functionality of appliances and fixtures, and adherence to safety protocols. Quality Assurance: Ensure that rooms are set up according to company standards, including proper arrangement of furniture, provision of amenities, and overall presentation. Reporting & Documentation: Document inspection results, including any issues found or corrective actions needed. Prepare detailed reports for management and follow up on any necessary repairs or improvements. Collaboration: Work closely with maintenance, housekeeping supervisor and management teams to address any problems identified during inspections and ensure timely resolution. Ensuring that rooms are cleaned thoroughly and in accordance with resort protocol. Other job duties as assigned. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidate must have the ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Candidate must have the ability to speak English fluently.
  • Candidate must have the ability to multitask.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as through recreational experience.
