About The Position

Margaritaville Casino & Resort Bossier City is looking for a Housekeeping Dispatcher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming calls, relaying information to appropriate departments, tracking various guest requests, and preparing daily sheets for housepersons.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and/or 2 years’ experience in Hotel Housekeeping with great communication skills.
  • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and in writing.
  • Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
  • Ability to obtain the appropriate work authorization per local, state, federal, and gaming regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Answers all incoming calls.
  • Relays information through the HOTSOS system to the appropriate team member or department to ensure prompt and efficient guest satisfaction.
  • Dispatcher will list calls.
  • Prepares and delivers sheets for Housepersons.
  • Adjusts change tickets for room changes, early checkouts, etc.
  • Tracks ViP arrivals
  • Tracks dry cleaning and pest control requests, among other guest room requirements.
