The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant Manager to join the only Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. The Housekeeping Assistant Manager will be responsible in ensuring a flawless guest experience and service-driven operation at The Post Oak Hotel, adhering to proper standards and compliance with Forbes Five-Star service requirements.

Requirements

Experience in Housekeeping with at least 1 year in a supervisory role, luxury or Forbes experience required
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
Must be able to manage colleagues, show initiative in job performance, and be effective in handling problems in the workplace
Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data

Responsibilities

Assist in leading the Housekeeping and Laundry Departments through coaching and inspiring a large diverse team with empathy and accountability
Oversee the day to day operation in areas relating to the Housekeeping and Laundry Department
Assist in maintaining labor, inventory, and resources with discipline
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the operational needs of VIPs and High-Profile guests are met
Resolve guest complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of professionalism
Ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness
