About The Position
We’re looking for Team Members who are eager, well-rounded, ambitious and who want to jump into a new and exciting career. Our Housekeeping Team is responsible for taking care of our 50+ acre campus in a clean and orderly manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent housekeeping skills, good communication, and the ability to follow directions. The Longo Housekeeper Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Rate of $19.00-$21.00. This position is 100% on site at Longo Toyota in El Monte, CA. Development and growth opportunities Free Employee Parking On-site gym, free of charge to team members Responsibilities Cleans and maintains all areas of the dealership. Cleans floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and/or vacuuming. Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms. Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures. Cleans windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners. Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications. Inspects designated areas of the dealership and repairs and cleans when appropriate. Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Assists in all other areas of the maintenance department, as needed. Maintains high ethical standards in all actions. Maintains a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance.
Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Individual should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, desired.
- Previous Janitorial/Housekeeping experience or related field, desired.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools, equipment, and materials used in maintenance and gardening; read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language; work well with the public.
