About The Position

Find your purpose joining CentraCare in Redwood Falls as a Housekeeper/Cleaner, working to keep our patients safe and our facilities clean. Summary Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged. Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms in all parts of the facility. Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids. Schedule Fulltime, 80 hours per two weeks. Evening shift from 1:00PM to 9:30PM, Monday through Friday Every 4th weekend/holiday rotation working 6:00AM to 2:30PM Pay and Benefits Starting pay begins at $17.41 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience. Full Pay range: $15.74 - $23.62 per hour Full-time benefits: Medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! Qualifications High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required. Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required. Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning products, including but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers and vacuums. Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift. Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
