About The Position

The Property Management Cleaner/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential properties, model units, common areas, and other assigned spaces. This position plays an important role in ensuring that properties are well-presented, move-in ready, and maintained in accordance with company standards. The Housekeeper supports the overall resident and guest experience while contributing to the Company’s mission.

Requirements

  • Property management experience preferred.
  • Can not own or operate another cleaning business.
  • Yardi experience recommended but not required.
  • Must possess authentic and genuine care of others with a strong desire to impact positive change in our residents’ lives
  • team player, with a cultural fit and a style to operate effectively within a fast-paced company environment
  • Be a proficient communicator and listener
  • Ability to work independently and successfully execute multiple assignments
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with frequent interruptions
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Working knowledge of Yardi and MS Office software programs preferred
  • Ability and willingness to effectively use other job-related technology tools
  • Frequent walking, standing, sitting within the work area
  • Must be able to lift over 25lbs
  • The work environment is that of a fast-paced office with minimal to high noise levels
  • This position requires working independently as well as part of a team
  • This position requires verbal and face-to-face contact with others daily
  • This position requires the use of all general office equipment
  • The position requires client information be maintained appropriately confidential
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Relevant housekeeping, janitorial, or residential cleaning experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Attend fair housing training
  • Attend other company required training

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize leasing offices, model units, clubhouses, fitness centers, hallways, laundry rooms, restrooms, vacant units, and other common areas assigned.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures.
  • Clean and disinfect kitchens, bathrooms, appliances, countertops, sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, and mirrors.
  • Remove trash and debris from common areas, offices, and assigned spaces and dispose of waste properly.
  • Replenish restroom, kitchen, and cleaning supplies as needed.
  • Perform turnover cleaning of vacant apartments or units to ensure readiness for new residents or inspections.
  • Report any maintenance issues, property damage, safety concerns, or supply shortages to management in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in safe and good working conditions.
  • Follow established cleaning schedules and company standards for quality and presentation.
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects and special cleaning assignments as needed.
  • Help maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming environment for residents, guests, prospects, and team members.
  • Conduct all duties in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Always adhere to company policies, safety standards, and Fair Housing requirements.
