About The Position

Summary

Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients
are discharged.
Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms
in all parts of the facility.
Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily
fluids.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
• Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning products, including but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers and vacuums.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift.
• Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently

Nice To Haves

• Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required.
