About The Position

We are a dynamic and busy family of four with two young children (3-year-old and 1-year-old) and a friendly 9-year-old dog. As a family, we deeply value quality time together, and we're looking for a caring, organized, and reliable person to help us create more of it. With one parent at home, pursuing a passion for woodworking, and the other tied to the office and often traveling for work, we are seeking support to ease the logistics of daily life and allow us to focus on being present with the children and each other. Our ideal candidate will help with meal prep, home organization, and provide light childcare support during the afternoon and key transitions. We believe in a calm and organized home, and we're looking for someone who can help manage household tasks and ensure smooth daily routines while supporting our kids with love and care. Additionally, we’re hoping to find someone who can occasionally assist with overnight care or date night coverage (2-4 times per month) and who is open to traveling to our Tahoe home with the family. We are looking for a warm, proactive, and self-driven individual who is excited to closely collaborate with the stay-at-home mother and help manage the household with minimal direction. The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to anticipate needs and contribute ideas to create a smooth-running home while taking initiative in various tasks. We need someone highly organized, detail-oriented, with strong experience in meal planning, and the flexibility to pull from multiple cuisines and cooking styles to create delicious, healthy meals. This is a long-term role, and we are seeking someone who values stability, flexibility, and a family-first approach. We want someone who is not only capable of keeping our home organized and functional but who also enjoys becoming a part of our family’s daily rhythm. The ideal person will be comfortable assisting with the kids during daily transitions, will have the flexibility to help with occasional overnight or weekend childcare, and will be open to traveling with the family to our Tahoe home.
