About The Position

House Supervisor RN - Nursing Admin at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. This position is Part -Time and will work 12-hour Night shifts. Under the general direction of the Director assigned by The Chief Nursing Officer, oversees daily hospital operations, and manages hospital capacity and throughput. Coordinates available resources to efficiently and effectively provide professional patient care and services to a quality consistent with nursing and SJHS-HC standards and at a cost compatible with the fiscal and other resources of SJHS-HC. Assumes shift responsibility for the management and direction of patient flow. Delegates authority as appropriate. Must have a professional commitment to growth, be creative and innovative, and demonstrate competency in interpersonal communication, leadership ability, and problem solving skills. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License Upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program - NRP Within 6 months (180 days) of hire
  • Provider ACLS - American Heart Association Upon hire
  • Provider PALS - American Heart Association Upon hire
  • 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
