About The Position

A private household is seeking a highly organized and tech-savvy Temporary House Manager/Personal Assistant to support day-to-day operations for a four-month period. This role is primarily Personal Assistant focused (90%), with light House Management responsibilities (10%), and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is proactive, efficient, and comfortable working independently.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a Personal Assistant, House Manager, or similar private household role
  • At least two verifiable professional references
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong computer skills with excellent typing ability
  • Highly tech-savvy and Apple proficient (comfortable using all Apple devices)
  • Proficient in Word documents and general digital file management
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work independently
  • Professional, discreet, and reliable

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage Word documents and digital files
  • Prepare a daily sheet which shows tasks completed during the day, notes/comments, appointments, important dates, upcoming projects, and outstanding purchases
  • Manage administrative and personal tasks with a high level of discretion and attention to detail
  • Handle purchasing, order tracking, and follow-ups
  • Download, organize, and manage photos and files across apps and devices
  • Conduct research on purchases, services, and items as needed
  • Maintain seamless digital organization across all Apple devices
  • Assist with occasional travel planning and coordination
  • Oversee vendors and service providers as needed
  • Support light management of a brownstone and studio apartment (details to be clarified)
  • Serve as a point of contact to ensure the home runs smoothly
