House Manager & Personal Assistant

Sage HausCrofton, MD

About The Position

I am a busy, neurodivergent woman that values inclusivity, respect, and thoughtful support for diverse backgrounds and family structures. The ideal candidate is compassionate, inclusive, and brings an affirming understanding of neurodiversity, along with a calm, steady, and kind presence. I truly value a clean, organized, minimalist environment but experience challenges with executive functioning, which is why support is so meaningful. I am collaborative, appreciative of help, and looking for someone who can bring structure, consistency, and ease to the day-to-day rhythms of the household. I travel frequently, including extended stays at my second home in Florida, and will rely on support with packing, logistics, and keeping the home running smoothly in my absence. The household also includes a friendly Labradoodle; pet care is minimal. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is independent, highly detail-oriented, and proactive. As you work closely with me, you will become familiar with my preferences and learn to anticipate my needs before I express them. You thrive on taking the initiative and staying several steps ahead to ensure everything runs smoothly without constant supervision. You should be a natural researcher and organizer, able to handle tasks such as selecting a new dog bed or pest control company, picking out gifts, or narrowing down options for upcoming trips. Organization is key, as I value a tidy home but need assistance in maintaining order. You’ll be responsible for keeping the home organized, putting things back where they belong, and ensuring that the household systems remain in place. Additionally, you will assist with more personal tasks such as picking out outfits, packing and unpacking for trips, and staying ahead of my needs in these areas. Strong emotional intelligence, flexibility, and sound judgment are essential. Communication tends to be direct and clear, so the ideal candidate is confident, grounded, and able to receive feedback with ease while adapting their approach as needed. Honesty and discretion are crucial, as is the ability to maintain confidentiality. Above all, the right fit is kind, positive, and brings calm, steady energy into the home.
