About Our Family: We are a warm, growth-oriented family of three entering an exciting season of transition after a cross-country move to Manhattan Beach. As we settle into our new home, we’re focused on creating thoughtful systems, steady rhythms, and an environment that feels calm, supportive, and well cared for. Our family includes one young child (20 months old) who will eventually begin preschool, with the hope of expanding to a family of four in the coming years. Both parents have dynamic work schedules — one with early hours and the other balancing a flexible hybrid role while building a business — and we thrive when our home feels organized, flowing, and grounded. We value gratitude, kindness, open communication, reliability, and integrity. We work best with people who bring both competence and heart — those who take pride in their work, care deeply about the spaces and people they support, and contribute positively to the emotional tone of the home. Who You Are: You are a grounded, highly organized, and proactive individual who brings structure, warmth, and calm into the home. You naturally anticipate needs, notice what’s out of place, and take initiative to keep things running smoothly — without needing constant direction. You’re adaptable, communicative, and thoughtful in how you show up, understanding that family needs evolve over time. Importantly, this role currently includes meaningful childcare responsibility alongside household management. As our child grows and enters school, the balance of childcare and house management is expected to shift. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with this evolution and excited to grow with our family. You bring emotional intelligence, humility, and pride in your work. You communicate clearly, collaborate easily, and contribute to a peaceful, supportive home environment. This role is ideal for someone who: Takes initiative naturally, with no task too small Communicates clearly, kindly, and professionally Is reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Brings a calm, caring presence Loves to cook and experiment with healthy recipes Enjoys being a true partner in keeping a household running Can collaborate and support a team-style environment Welcomes feedback and adapts easily Feels energized by organization, systems-building, and anticipating needs Is comfortable managing Notion or similar platforms You see yourself as someone who becomes part of the family’s daily rhythm—a steady, loving, competent presence who brings order, ease, and nourishment to the home.
