About The Position

We are a busy family of three—two full-time working parents, an 18-month-old son, and a friendly large labradoodle. We value quality time together and want to enjoy each other's company without being overwhelmed by household tasks. You're comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and love creating systems that keep everything running smoothly. You have a project manager mentality and can see tasks through from start to finish independently. With a positive attitude and strong intuition, you can read the room and understand what needs to be done without constant direction. You're a self-starter who handles daily household operations with ease and tackles special projects confidently. You bring excellent organizational skills, clear communication, and adaptability to meet the family's evolving needs. A long-term commitment is preferred, as we’re looking for someone who will grow with our family and provide lasting support. Your focus on maintaining an organized, efficient home helps our family spend less time on logistics and more time doing what matters most—being together.

Requirements

  • Can maintain a smoke-free environment
  • Reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)
  • Comfortable with large a large dog (labradoodle)
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. is required

Responsibilities

  • Household Management & Organization
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily, maintain overall neatness
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic areas
  • Take weekly garbage and recycling bins to the curb
  • Create and maintain household organization systems (closets, storage, pantry, toys)
  • Conduct seasonal swaps (clothing, bedding, décor); sort and declutter household items as child grows and coordinate donation drop-offs
  • Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest stays
  • Supervise or coordinate with service providers/vendors (e.g., handymen, cleaners, landscapers)
  • Maintain indoor plants
  • Pet Care
  • Manage daily pet care for dog
  • Walk the dog daily (30 minutes) Monday–Friday
  • Clean paws/wipe down after walks
  • Take dog to vet/grooming appointments as needed
  • Keep pet supplies organized
  • Laundry & Linen Care
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Iron, steam, and prepare outfits as needed
  • Manage linens: bi-weekly rotating bedding, refresh towels, restock essentials
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
  • Handle special care for delicates and manage dry cleaning
  • Establish and maintain regular cadence of dry cleaning, both drop off and pick up, with special requests as necessary
  • Inventory Management & Errands
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies
  • Create and manage running household supply lists
  • Coordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Wegmans, HelloFresh, etc)
  • Run errands: grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning
  • Handle package pickup, mail sorting, and deliveries
  • Meal Planning & Preparation
  • Plan and prep healthy weeknight meals/snacks for adults
  • Prep HelloFresh meals 3x weekly, 1x weekly batch-cooking
  • Prep simple grab and go breakfast for adults on weekdays
  • Prep milk and appropriate snacks for child
  • Shop for groceries and meal-related items
  • Follow family preferences for healthy, natural food-focused and protein-forward meals
  • Clean kitchen post-prep, maintain kitchen tidiness
  • Vendor & Property Oversight
  • Occasionally schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers)
  • Research and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and quotes
  • Manage routine upkeep across the property
  • Serve as primary contact for vendors or guests
  • Family Support & Child Assistance
  • Help with child-related laundry and errands
  • Prepare snacks for school
  • Occasional school pickups and afterschool childcare
  • Provide occasional childcare for date nights and weekends
  • Deep Cleaning & Special Projects
  • Tackle occasional deep cleans (fridge, oven, washer/dryer etc.)
  • Maintain and refresh specific zones (entryways, basement)
  • Clean humidifiers, washing machines, and air purifiers monthly
  • Organize special projects: toy storage, household organization, seasonal decorations
  • Administrative & Personal Assistant Support
  • Support planning and logistics for travel, guests, and special events, including advance preparation and home readiness
