About The Position

We are a fun, dynamic family of three. We both work remotely from home, with significant travel commitments. Between traveling for work and spending our weekends skiing in the mountains, we are on the go! We value quality family time together and need help managing our home so we can enjoy our downtime more. Our 8-year-old daughter is independent, mature, and enjoys a variety of activities, and our German Shepherd is a cherished member of the family. We’re looking for someone who can step in to help us create order, manage household tasks, and provide backup care when travel schedules occasionally overlap. We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual to join our family. The ideal candidate is someone who takes initiative, enjoys being hands-on, and can independently manage household tasks. A straightforward communicator with integrity and flexibility, you will work with us to ensure our home runs smoothly. You should be a self-starter, able to anticipate needs, and comfortable with both household chores and light child-related tasks. Responsibilities

  • Maintain household organization systems (closets, pantry, storage)
  • Reset and tidy rooms daily, prepare the house for cleaning services
  • Oversee household schedules and calendars
  • Conduct seasonal clothing swaps (clothing, decor, bedding; primarily for daughter)
  • Prepare for family events, holidays, and guest stays
  • Prepare and coordinate donation drop offs and pick ups
  • Load/unload dishwasher, wipe surfaces, vacuum high traffic
  • Supervise or coordinate with service providers/vendors (e.g., handymen, cleaners, landscapers)areas
  • Maintain indoor plants
  • Track and restock pantry, fridge, toiletries, and household supplies
  • Create and manage supply lists and coordinate deliveries
  • Coordinate and manage household orders (Amazon, Costco, Target, etc.)
  • Run occasional errands (grocery shopping, returns, dry cleaning, etc.)
  • Assist with school/activity pick-ups or drop-offs
  • Light supervision, playtime, or back-up childcare
  • Flexibility for overnight care on occasion
  • Prep backpacks, clothing, or snacks for school
  • Plan and prep 3 dinners per week based on family schedule
  • Prepare and pack school lunches for daughter
  • Shop for groceries and meal-related items
  • Clean kitchen post-prep and ensure kitchen tidiness
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (e.g., clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Manage linens: rotate bedding, refresh towels, restock essentials
  • Keep laundry areas tidy and well-stocked with supplies
  • Feed and walk the dog as needed (twice a day when required)
  • Administer eye drops and provide basic pet care (when family is traveling)
  • Keep pet supplies stocked and organized
  • Option for occasional dog sitting when family travels
  • Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized
  • Schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors, landscapers)
  • Manage routine upkeep across property
  • Serve as primary contact for vendors or guests
