The Radisson Hotel Cedar Rapids, managed by OCI Hospitality, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support our Sales Team and enhance the experience of our group and meeting guests. This role is essential in coordinating group details, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring clear communication across departments for seamless execution.   • Previous hospitality, sales, or administrative experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, guests, and hotel team members
  • Welcome and greet sales office guests and clients with Radisson's signature hospitality
  • Enter and manage group room blocks and related details within Radisson-approved systems
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of sales collateral and promotional materials
  • Communicate all group arrival information, check-in procedures, and room assignments with Guest Services and Management Teams to ensure contract expectations are met
  • Provide timely follow-up on all definite contracts, client introductions, and contract reviews
  • Act as the onsite point of contact for group arrivals and daily or weekly meeting room functions
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing procedures for group and meeting business
  • Assist potential clients by conducting hotel tours and gathering client needs when leadership is unavailable
  • Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct inquiries appropriately
  • Enter and maintain group commissions and rebates
  • Submit brand reward points for planners and groups as assigned
  • Prepare and distribute Group Resumes two weeks prior to arrival for review during hotel PMT meetings
  • Send weekly group pickup reports to the Property Management Team
  • Complete all assigned training and ongoing development programs
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales Team as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by hotel or OCI Hospitality leadership
