About The Position

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall daily success of the hotel. Supervises both Department heads and the teams for: Front Desk, F&B, Housekeeping and Engineering Needs the skill set for hiring, terminating, coaching, disciplinary etc. Schedules subordinates, maintaining adequate staffing levels while adhering to labor standards guidelines. Perform accounts payable entry and processing Assures maximum guest service through routine training Ensures compliance with WA State, King County, Marriott and Lodging Dynamics training Maintains accurate records including cash flow sheet, direct bill accounts, credit card receipts, direct bills, and credit cards authorizations. Adheres to all franchise and company procedures and regulations as well as standard operating procedures. Maintains and implements established Emergency Procedures, assuring the security of guests and monies.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in a hotel necessary
  • Must have strong knowledge of Marriott systems including FOSSE, GXP, Marriott Global Source etc.
  • Leadership, oral & written communication, customer service, and computer skills
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Attention to detail and organizational ability
