Microtel Inn & Suites Beaver Falls is looking for a Hotel Operations Supervisor to join their team. As a Hotel Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operations of the hotel. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating with various departments within the hotel to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Your primary focus will be partnering with the General Manager on maintaining high standards of guest service, managing staff, and overseeing the various operational aspects of the establishment including the front office and housekeeping departments.

Requirements

  • Highschool diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in hotel operations or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Handle guest complaints, requests, and feedback with professionalism.
  • Resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor guest reviews and implement improvements where needed.
  • Train, mentor, and develop staff to maintain a high level of professionalism and service quality.
  • Schedule and assign tasks to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations.
  • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces and ensure it is cleaned to the highest standards
  • Inspect rooms regularly to verify cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with hotel standards.
  • Coordinate with General Manager to order cleaning supplies and amenities, while monitoring usage to control costs and minimize waste.
