Job Purpose: - The Hotel Bartender at Element by Westin is responsible for providing exceptional beverage and food service to guests in a professional and courteous manner. This role involves crafting a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, preparing and cooking bar food items, ensuring a memorable experience for patrons, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a bartender in a hotel or high-volume bar setting.
Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service in a hospitality environment.
Experience in crafting and serving a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.
Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Proficiency in handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks, according to established recipes and guest preferences.
Engage with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner, taking drink and food orders and providing recommendations as needed.
Ensure the bar area is clean, well-stocked, and organized, including the proper storage of all beverages and supplies.
Maintain knowledge of all menu items, including specials and promotions, to provide accurate information to guests.
Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service and sanitation standards.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, following company procedures for closing out tabs and processing payments.
Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor guest behavior and consumption to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Participate in regular training sessions and team meetings to stay informed about new products, services, and company policies.
Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by helping out in other areas when needed.
