About The Position

Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists Answers telephone address customers queries, processes and tracks reservations in Opentable according to established procedures Escort guests to assigned dining tables Seat guest guests based on guest preferences and balancing of customer flow in service stations. Upon seating, offer guests a menu and inform them of their servers name. Requirements

  • Ability to communicate with the public, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of surrounding areas and local events
  • Ability to understand and adhere to proper credit, and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of proper telephone etiquette
  • Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Must be able to withstand working in heat, rain, sun, and cold
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety
  • Patience and customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
