About The Position

Fine-dining establishment located in the heart of Boca Raton is seeking experienced host/host. Full-time, year-round positions available. Requirements

Preferred have at least 2-4 years of experience in the service industry.
Preferred Can provide 3 reliable references from previous positions.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work on your feet for long periods of time.
Be proficient in the English language both written and verbal.
Possess strong customer service skills and interpersonal work relations.
Provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States.
High School Diploma/GED
Exhibit an enthusiastic, outgoing, positive and upbeat personality.
Must display high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Preferred be proficient in Microsoft Word and Publisher

Responsibilities

The ability to retain the top 50 member names of most frequent patrons, and greet the member warmly, by name.
Provide exceptional service with a warm smile to our guests.
Be the first point of contact with our guests.
Engage in friendly conversation while seating guests in a timely fashion.
Help dining room staff by assisting in water, coffee service and anything else that would promote guest satisfaction.
Manage wait list during high volume to accurately set guests expectations.
Always strive to exceed guests' expectations and needs.
Coordinate with servers and managers to ensure proper table management.
Retain knowledge of our menu and daily specials in order to assists servers when needed and accurately take to-go orders.
Create signs, table numbers and place cards in Microsoft Office when needed for special events.
Organize reservations and coordinate reservation times to ensure proper kitchen efficiency.
Deliver remarkable service while adhering to our company’s standard operating procedures, rules and regulations.
Hold outstanding interpersonal and team building skills with an aptitude for building rapport with a diverse range of guests, managers, and coworkers.
Possess a talent of quickly resolving issues prior to escalation with an ending result of a satisfied guest.
