Top of the Rock isn’t just a destination; it’s one of New York City’s most iconic experiences. As a Host, you are the first smile guests see and the steady presence guiding them through an unforgettable visit. We’re looking for outgoing, high-energy, service-driven individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and love creating exceptional guest moments. From greeting visitors to managing guest flow high above the city skyline, you’ll help ensure every visit feels seamless, safe, and memorable.

Requirements

  • Outgoing, enthusiastic personality with a genuine passion for guest service
  • Consistent professionalism and polished demeanor
  • A “can-do” attitude and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
  • Team player mentality with a positive attitude
  • Comfort working in changing climate conditions and high-altitude floors
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak seasons
  • Walking and standing for a significant portion of the shift
  • Ability to work throughout all areas of the attraction, including elevated floors

Responsibilities

  • Meet, greet, and interact with guests in a professional, friendly, and welcoming manner
  • Provide directions throughout the attraction to maintain smooth guest flow
  • Share safety information and helpful insights about Top of the Rock, Rockefeller Center, and NYC
  • Admit ticket holders using wireless admission terminals
  • Load guests into elevators and manage traffic flow at high-visibility areas
  • Identify and resolve guest flow challenges in partnership with leadership
  • Actively listen and respond thoughtfully to guest inquiries
