About The Position
As a Host, you would be responsible for greeting guests, accepting reservations, organizing wait-lists and seating charts to maintain smooth dining room flow. Requirements
- Ability to organize and prioritize under pressure while maintaining a calm and pleasant demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
- Ability to absorb large amounts of information quickly: Service procedures, beverage and food menus as appropriate, operation of point of sales system.
- Knowledge of menu, specials and features.
- Knowledge of basic sanitation.
- Certification in the TIPS alcohol awareness program is required.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, approximately 8 hours.
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time.
Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain positive communication with Servers, Server Assistants, and the Manager on duty in the dining room.
