About The Position

Under the supervision of the Pool Bar Supervisor and Pool Bar Manager, the incumbent settles checks for non-gaming revenue presented as payment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required as well as six (6) months cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Enters guest checks in the computer system, applies monies received and makes accurate change.
  • Verifies room charges, processes credit card payments, batches "tip" slips for server gratuities.
  • May enter individual menu items into the computer system depending on outlet assigned.
  • Collects and forwards to Beach Club Supervisor or Manager on a daily basis all unused comps and coupons.
  • Maintains current knowledge of rules, regulations, policies and procedures including precheck and cashiering procedures.
  • Ensures guest satisfaction with effective communication, customer assistance, direction, and information provided within company policies and guidelines.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
