Responsible for setting up and maintaining supply of buffet items, taking food and beverage orders from guests, and following all rules and regulations regarding food and alcohol service. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversee all game-day operations within the assigned concession stand Develop and maintain professional relationships with NPO groups, bartenders, and subcontracted staff Demonstrate strong menu, product, and promotional knowledge Assign, monitor, and verify completion of all game-day tasks Utilize the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently Identify, analyze, and proactively resolve operational issues Complete beginning and ending inventory for designated stand Implement and uphold steps of service standards Assist management in ensuring proper food & beverage service, sanitation, and product quality Ensure all Sporting KC policies and procedures are followed Maintain a clean, professional uniform and ensure associates meet appearance standards Communicate effectively with management regarding issues, incidents, or notable events Set up assigned concession stand prior to match day Assist with end-of-season stand shutdown and inventory processes Collaborate with staff and management to reduce waste and maximize sales PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Friendly, professional demeanor with guests and fellow associates Ability to remain calm and focused in a high-volume environment Strong multitasking and delegation skills Team-oriented mindset with a positive, can-do attitude Ability to make sound decisions with minimal supervision Demonstrates accountability and ownership of responsibilities SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or a high-volume service environment Must be at least 18 years old Availability to work a flexible schedule based on event needs Willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays PHYSICAL ABILITIES The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
