Hospital Discharge Service Driver (PRN/As-Needed)
About The Position
The Hospital Discharge Service Driver is responsible for transporting wheelchair bound patients in a wheelchair accessible van from medical facilities to locations within the region. This role also assists in AMSEC when needed. Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Driver's License - Illinois Secretary of State (ILSOS)
- H.S. Diploma/GED
- Driving experience
Responsibilities
- Assists staff at medical facilities in moving patients into and out of wheelchairs
- Transports wheelchair bound patients in a wheelchair accessible van from medical facilities to locations within the region.
- Clean and keep wheeel chair vans in good working conditon.
- Some on call time required
