About The Position
The Home Photo Elec/Asst Dept Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, and achieving sales and profit goals for the department. This role involves monitoring quality assurance standards, assisting in directing and supervising department functions, and supporting day-to-day operations. The leader is expected to embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encourage excellent customer service, and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska. Responsibilities
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service.
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return.
- Achieve sales and profit goals established for the department.
- Monitor and control all established quality assurance standards.
- Assist in directing and supervising all functions, duties and activities for the department.
- Support the day-to-day functions of the department operations.
- Embrace the Customer 1st strategy and encourage associates to deliver excellent customer service.
