About The Position

The Home Photo Elec/Asst Dept Leader is responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and achieving sales and profit goals for the department. This role involves monitoring quality assurance standards, assisting in directing and supervising all departmental functions, and supporting day-to-day operations. The leader is expected to embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encourage excellent customer service from associates, and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety. Fred Meyer, based in Portland, Oregon, merged with The Kroger Company in 1998 and serves customers in over 120 stores across Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Alaska.
