These programs are offered at no cost to participants. These programs are designed for individuals interested in starting a career in the clean energy and building trades, with a focus on improving home comfort, efficiency, and sustainability. This is a career training and job-readiness program, not a class. Participants who complete the program will be prepared for entry-level roles in the field and will receive job placement support. For more information about the training program, and prior to your interview, we encourage you to review the following: Home Performance Training Program HP Program Description This program focuses on how homes function as complete systems and how to improve comfort, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality. Training includes: Building science fundamentals Energy efficiency and weatherization concepts Air sealing and insulation practices Introduction to home performance testing and diagnostics Hands-on field experience in residential settings Program length: Approximately 6 weeks
