Requirements

  • Minimum one year work experience (does not need to be in health care)
  • HHA needs to be fluent in English
  • Have a reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Activities of daily living
  • Range of motion / exercises
  • Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
  • Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
  • Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
  • Assisting with ambulation
  • Medication assistance
