About The Position

Care Plus Home Health Care is looking for a motivated Home Health Aide (HHA) to perform valuable personal care services for our patients. Duties of the Home Health Aide include personal care needs, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, feeding, exercising and light housekeeping. The ideal candidate should have a HHA or CNA license. If you have previous experience as a Home Health Aide, Certified Nurse's Aide or similar background, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Home Health Aide will provide excellent personal care and dignity to all patients and families. The HHA will build strong relationships with patients and other staff and will report to The Director of Nursing. Details: Part-time and PRN positions available in Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas Monday - Friday and Weekends as needed Mileage Reimbursement

Requirements

• Active HHA or CNA License in the State of Indiana (Required)
• Valid Driver's License (Required)
• Auto Insurance (Required)
• CPR or BLS Certification (Required)
• Ability to Commute: Around Indianapolis, IN and surrounding areas (Required)
• To Anderson, IN for interview, orientation, and training (Required)
• Home Health Aide or
• Certified Nurse's Aide
• Must have reliable transportation, carry your own auto insurance and have a valid driver's license. (Required)

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience in direct patient care with a willingness to be trained (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provides Personal care including but not limited to bathing, shampooing hair, oral care, shaving, dressing, changing linens.
• Preparing meals and feeding patients.
• Utilizes equipment safely and effectively to meet patient needs.
• Follows Plan of Care accurately.
• Reports changes in patient condition to Director of Nursing.
• Performs light housekeeping as needed.
• Provides emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Completes documentation appropriately and timely in accordance with policies/procedures.
