The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides assigned functions of personal care to the patient in the home under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Registered Nurse. Requirements
- Completion of the ninth grade in school.
- Documentation of successful completion of a Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program that meets standards of 42 CFR § 484.80 Condition of Participation: Home Health Aide Services for content and duration (at least seventy-five (75) hours of training which included sixteen (16) hours of clinical training .
- Provision of home health aide services for compensation since completion of the required training, without a 24-month lapse in furnishing services for compensation.
- Current Driver's License, car insurance, and good driving record.
