About The Position

Traditions Home Health Services is currently seeking a very compassionate, skilled, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aide and/or CNA for the Westwood area to assist with our senior client who is in need of support, and companionship. Shifts Available: These hours are set and not flexible. Monday through Friday 3pm-6pm Traditions Home Health Services is seeking 1 or 2 OUTSTANDING CNA or HHA for the shifts listed above. Here at Traditions, we offer small consistent teams to our clients so we can provide the outstanding care that we are known for and what our clients deserve! The CNA and/or HHA would assist our client with his activities of daily living, light household support, some meal assistance, companionship, assistance with his range of motion exercises, stimulating conversation and activities, walks. Our goal is for our clients to remain in their own home by providing quality care and to give our clients purpose and dignity. Requirements

• Home Health Aide Certification or CNA Certification
• 2+Years experience working with your Certification
• Must be kind, compassionate, reliable, dependable and skilled HHA
• Must have experience working with Dementia
• Experience with Catheter care
• Clean driving record, ability to pass a CORI check
• Current TB test, QuantiFERON Gold Test, or X-ray
• Dementia care experience
• Speak, read, write the English language clearly, and effective communication skills.
• You must own a smart phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the Activities of Living, personal care
• Assist with light housekeeping
• Encourage walking, exercising
• Providing stimulating conversation
• Activities
• Encourage fluid intake, possible meal prep in accordance with orders/Care Plan
• Competently documenting shift activities frequently during the shift digitally using a smartphone
• CNA and/or Home Health Aide would report any concerns to the Traditions Home Health Services Office Support Team in a timely manner
