The Home Coordinator is responsible for the daily supervision and operation of assigned residential group homes serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. This role involves direct oversight of daily program operations, including team member supervision, performance evaluations and management, scheduling, and ODP staff compliance. The coordinator is required to visit at least one group home per day and all assigned homes weekly. They participate in the interview, selection, and onboarding process for new hires, and ensure services adhere to agency policies. Key responsibilities also include managing medication, electronic health records, providing medical training for staff, and coordinating medical appointments. The Home Coordinator facilitates team communication, engages in employee relations and disciplinary actions with HR assistance, and helps with annual licensing preparation. They partner with the leadership team on staff communications and are responsible for coaching, mentoring, training, and overseeing the performance and career progression of direct reports. This position also serves as a backup for the positions supervised.
