About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide personalized care and support to clients in the Clawson, MI area. Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow directions
- Reliable transportation to and from client locations
- Ability to pass background checks and any required certifications
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude toward clients
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help with mobility and transferring using safe techniques
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Monitor client’s health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by healthcare professionals
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
