About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HomeCare Scheduler with at least one year of full-time experience in scheduling within the U.S. homecare industry. The ideal candidate will coordinate appointments, manage staff schedules, and ensure efficient patient and caregiver coverage. This role requires strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and a deep understanding of healthcare operations.

Requirements

• Resume must include detailed experience in HomeCare, highlighting tasks handled in previous roles.
• Video presentation must demonstrate an outgoing attitude, be unscripted, and show why the candidate is a suitable fit for the role.
• Mandatory: Minimum of 6 months experience in HomeCare Scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. homecare systems, terminology, and staffing models.
• Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., ClearCare, AlayaCare, HomeTrak, or similar).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage high volumes of scheduling requests.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home care, hospice, or long-term care settings.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and healthcare compliance standards.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily schedules for healthcare staff, including nurses, caregivers, and therapists.
• Communicate with patients, families, and staff to confirm appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and respond promptly to last-minute changes or call-offs.
• Maintain accurate records in scheduling software and update calendars in real time.
• Collaborate with HR and operations teams to align staffing with patient needs.
• Monitor compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and healthcare regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
