About The Position
University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and reliable Home Attendants to provide quality in-home care services to clients in Westland, MI. As a Home Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily living activities of individuals in their own homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but not necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required if client need to be driven places
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Help with light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with mobility and transferring clients as needed
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to supervisors
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients
