About The Position

At Gifford TV & Applaince, we are a team of appliance installation professionals who are dedicated to providing our customers with a seamless installation experience. We are looking for an appliance installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing a variety of appliances, including washers, dryers, dishwashers, refrigerators, and ovens. He or she will be responsible for ensuring that all appliances are installed properly and in a timely manner. The most successful appliance installer will be able to work independently and be detail-oriented.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ pounds) and climb ladders
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating
Exceptional customer service skills

Responsibilities

To install, maintain, and repair a variety of appliances in both residential and commercial settings
To ensure that all work is performed in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and local building codes
To provide excellent customer service by maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
To arrive to appointments on time and prepared with all necessary tools and parts
To diagnose problems quickly and accurately and provide customers with cost-effective solutions
To keep up to date on new products and installation techniques through ongoing training
To properly document all work performed and maintain accurate records of time, materials, and invoices
To upsell customers on extended warranties and maintenance plans when appropriate
To cross-sell other services offered by the company when applicable
To safely operate a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record
To adhere to all safety regulations while on the job
To perform physical labor as required, including lifting heavy appliances and climbing ladders
