Property Management Company is seeking a skilled Appliance Technician for a large apartment community in Richmond, VA. The Appliance Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of household appliances within apartment units to ensure tenant satisfaction and efficient operation.

Requirements

Proven experience as an appliance technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of various residential appliances.
Ability to diagnose and repair appliance malfunctions effectively.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls.

Responsibilities

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair residential appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and microwaves.
Perform routine maintenance and preventive repairs on appliances.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergency repairs.
Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory.
Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to complete work orders efficiently.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain clean, organized work areas.
Communicate effectively with residents to explain repairs and maintenance procedures.
