About The Position

Sterling Heritage Farms is a sixth-generation family farm located in Sterling, KS. We are more than a farming operation – we are a team rooted in stewardship, family, and faith. We take pride in raising livestock with care while maintaining efficient, high performing operations. We are seeking a Hog Barn Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our SHF Hog Complex. This role is hands-on and essential to maintaining animal health, enforcing biosecurity, and ensuring facilities are operating at a high standard. As a sixth-generation farm family, we carry forward a legacy built on hard work, responsibility, and gratitude. Requirements

  • Livestock experience preferred (will train the right person)

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily barn chores (2x/day)
  • Monitor feed, water, temperature, and ventilation
  • Identify and treat animal health issues
  • Assist with loading/unloading hogs
  • Maintain clean, organized barns and facilities
  • Follow strict biosecurity protocols
  • Handle mortality management and recordkeeping
  • Complete basic maintenance and repairs
