HMA QC/QA Lab Technician
About The Position
Materials Testing Consultants, Inc. seeks individuals who work well independently and in team environments and are interested in starting or gaining additional experience in the construction and materials testing fields. You will be responsible for sampling, testing, inspecting, reporting and providing quality assurance for construction materials. This role involves self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, consistency physical activity. Ability to follow testing standards will be necessary. Materials Testing Consultants has one opening for full time, detail-oriented, well organized HMA QC/QA Lab Technician.
Requirements
- High School degree or GED required
- Reliable transportation to facility
- Reliable attendance to ensure our high standards for quality service
- Inspector/Technical mindset
- Accuracy and strong communication skills
- High ethical standards
- Organized in thought with strong critical thinking skills
- Ability to learn new processes and follow the provided specifications
- Pre-employment drug screen, physical with a 50lb lift test, and a background check that includes a Motor Vehicle Report.
Nice To Haves
- OSHA 10 Hour (preferred, but not required - MTC will provide)
- QC/CA (preferred, but not required - MTC will provide)
