As the Hiring Manager for a Build-A-Bear for a premier location, you’ll play a key role in building a high-performing team from the ground up. You will lead the full hiring journey from workforce planning through onboarding – ensuring every hire is a strong fit for both the role and the culture. Your ability to attract top candidates, create a positive candidate experience, and set the tone for a positive, high-energy workplace will be essential to our success.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years store manager experience
  • Skilled Microsoft Office
  • Skilled in ATS and HRIS systems
  • Skilled with using job boards and social media platforms

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process for store location, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring
  • Ensure new hires are effectively onboarded and clearly understand their roles and responsibilities
  • Identify and nurture talent within the store, providing opportunities for growth and development
  • Partner with store leadership to align hiring strategies with business goals
  • Ensure all hiring practices comply with company policies and legal requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Amplify the brand as an employer of choice by leveraging social media and community engagement
